Maryam Augie-Abdulmumin

Ms. Maryam Augie-Abdulmumin, the Executive Director/Founder of Illmi Children’s Fund (ICF), is an inspiring woman with a passion for humanity. She has devoted her time in the thoughtful and careful planning of her education related initiative, which provides a model to bridge the funding gap for basic education of millions of out-of-school children in Nigeria. Since its inception, ICF has provided access to basic education for about 24.8% of the children on its database. Its mobile and web app leverages technology and grassroot-driven crowd funding to reduce the more than 10million out-of-school children in Nigeria. Ms. Maryam earned an exceptional degree in Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) and a B.Sc. Business Administration specializing in International Business. Her passion for community development, child advocacy is apparent in her yearly programmes and philanthropic efforts. A Trip to Kano is her first book.
