Kemi Ann-Melody Areola

Kemi is a thoroughbred public relations expert, a tactical social development specialist, and founder of the Kemi Ann-Melody Areola Foundation. Wearing several caps, she is currently the Special Assistant on ICT & Corporate Relations to the Minister of Youth and Sports of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, while also actively running her bespoke PR boutique, Vivacity PR.
She is also a technology consultant with an exceptional mastery of her trade. She studied Electronics and Communications Engineering at London Metropolitan University and is a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) and PRINCE2-certified project manager.
Her public relations practice has extensive footprints across Africa, America, and Europe. Kemi is a multi-talented media maven, especially with her experience as a television presenter on BEN TV and PASSION TV, UK.
She is a passionate crusader and advocate for the girl child, women, and youth through executable empowerment solutions. She initiated the Women in Entertainment and Arts Awards in 2008 to celebrate the milestones of women in the industry. She also champions the Vivaciousball, an initiative focused on girl and boy child-related issues in Nigeria.
She remains an inspiration to younger women on breaking the glass ceiling. She is widely travelled, a lover of books, a seasoned cook, and a high-flyer.
