Adetutu Adeyeye

Adetutu Adeyeye is a staff of Ekiti State University. She is the Founder and Executive Director, Tutumade Adeyeye Foundation, an NGO working to improve the lives of vulnerable children and widows. Adetutu believes that for a society to be functional, inhabitants must commit to the plights of the vulnerable and the needy. Adetutu has cognate experience and training in welfare and social support for children and widows. She also has partnered with several NGOs, locally and internationally based. She was an SDG Goal 3 advocate in Ekiti State in 2019/2020 and campaigns for good health and well-being. Adetutu participated in the 2018 edition of the Young African Women Congress (YAWC) in Ghana and is a member of the YAWC-Network, Africa. She has undergone SDGs activation training and satisfactorily delivered activations for school children in Nigeria. Adetutu is a charity preacher, an Outstanding Social Contribution Awardee and an Outstanding Ekiti Personality Awardee, amongst others. She is a prolific motivational and literary writer, with numerous titles to her name. Adetutu delights in building lives and making positive social impacts. She is unrelenting in her social welfare endeavours and campaign against gender inequality and the increasing number of out-of-school children. Not until the scourge reduces to the barest minimum and thousands of children find their way back to school, with access to good and affordable health services, she has sworn to remain persistent. Adetutu is a mentor to numerous girls and women, likewise a jewel of inestimable value to her hometown, Ise Ekiti.
