Sarah Anyang Agbor

Sarah Anyang Agbor was born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria. She was educated at the University of Ibadan in Nigeria where she had her B.A (Combined Honours) in Classics and English in 1991; M.A in English (Literature Emphasis) in 1995 and PhD in English (Literature Emphasis) in !998. Professor Ayang Agbor has over 20years’ experience in the field of Academia. She was Fullbright Scholar-in-Residence (SIR) at the University of Scranton, Pennsylvania, USA, in 2004-2005, where she taught Modern African Prose and Drama. Professor Anyang Agbor has written a number of academic books and publications in contribuition to scholarship. She was Inspector of Academic Affairs No. 1 at the Ministry of Higher Education, Cameroon. Notably, she is a member of the Coalition on Media and Education for Development Africa Forum; a governing board member, vice chair and standing committee member of the editorial board of the International Review of Education-Journal for Lifelong Learning (IRE). She is the Vice President of the Forum for African Women Educationists (FAWE), and a member of the board of African Progress Group (APG) amongst others.
