Babatunde Olaide-Mesewaku

Babatunde Olaide-Mesewaku, PhD hails from Badagry. He is a former Permanent Secretary, Lagos State Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture. His early public service years were the Local Government Service where he rose to the pinnacle of his career as Head of Administration/Council Manager from 2003-2017 and served in various Local Governments across Lagos State. Dr. Mesewaku was adjudged the Most Outstanding Council Manager in Lagos State Councils in 2007 and 2011 respectively by Chartered Institute of Local Government and Public Administration of Nigeria. He was eventually deployed to the mainstream of the Lagos State Public Service in 2017 from where he was appointed Permanent Secretary in2019 and deployed to the ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture based on his pedigree and expertise as a tourism practitioner.
