Our Services
Three Names, One Standard
Noirledge publishes under three imprints: Noirledge, Winepress, and Frangipani. Each imprint has a different editorial focus, but all three maintain the same production standards and commitment to quality.

This is our flagship imprint for traditional publishing. Noirledge publishes literary fiction, poetry, drama, non-fiction, memoirs, autobiographies, scholarly works, and academic journals. We accept manuscripts for consideration, and if your work is accepted, we offer a traditional publishing agreement. We cover all publishing, distribution, and marketing costs whilst you receive royalties.
This is the imprint where Boom Boom and The Road Does Not End were published. Both titles won the Nigeria Prize for Literature. We are proud of that, but we are more proud of the dozens of other titles we have published that may not have won prizes but still matter deeply.
Our editorial team decides which works are published under the Noirledge imprint based on literary merit, cultural relevance, and alignment with our publishing vision. To submit your manuscript for traditional publishing consideration, you can visit our Submissions page.

Winepress is our self-publishing imprint for authors who wish to contribute to production costs while benefiting from our editorial expertise and production standards. We work with authors across all genres and subjects, providing the same level of editorial rigour and design quality as our traditional imprint.
Authors published under Winepress retain greater control over their work and receive a higher royalty percentage. However, they contribute to editing, design, printing, and distribution costs upfront. We provide transparent pricing and clear contracts that explain every cost involved.

Frangipani is our imprint for children’s and young adult literature. We publish picture books, middle-grade fiction, young adult novels, and educational titles. We accept manuscripts for traditional publishing consideration, and our editorial team decides which children’s books are published under Frangipani.
We are looking for stories that entertain, educate, and respect the intelligence of young readers. We believe children deserve good books. We believe young adults deserve stories that take them seriously. We believe African children should see themselves in the books they read. That is what Frangipani is for, and that is what we are committed to publishing.
